What are Learning Disabilities?
Learning disabilities are disorders affecting one's ability to understand or use spoken or written language, perform mathematical calculations, coordinate movements, or focus/direct attention. Learning disabilities happen to very young children, but the disorders are usually not apparent until the child reaches school age.

An adult or child with a learning disability may feel as if he or she is in a mental jail. Struggling with learning disabilities is a painful experience. Often, several overlapping learning disabilities are diagnosed. We know that once learning disabilities are identified and addressed, learning ability can be improved.
